Vijay Thakkar

Founder

Vijay stands out in the financial planning industry with an impressive 33 years under his belt, but his unconventional approach truly sets him apart. Constantly challenging the norm, Vijay pioneered the move in 2011 to establish a back office in India, streamlining administrative tasks and ushering in a new era of operational efficiency.

Recognising common challenges among IFAs, Vijay conceived a collaborative platform driven by a desire to address common challenges among fellow IFAs. This vision materialised into Consenta, which started as a personal mission to streamline processes and has now evolved into a thriving hub for cooperation among IFA firms, leveraging Vijay’s expertise and forward-thinking approach.

When he is not strategising innovative solutions, you will find him playing golf, serving as Chairman of North Middlesex Golf Club and dedicating his time to educating underprivileged children.

Utkarsha Rajput

Utkarsha embarked on her financial services career in 2013 after completing her MBA. She joined Consenta straight out of university and has ascended to become a Director and part owner of the company. Her resourceful leadership is dedicated to managing client relationships, creating a leading outsourcing company to support IFAs in the UK, and consistently delivering what is required.

Utkarsha is known for her exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving and communication abilities, all driving her mission to elevate Consenta to new heights.

Preeti Pethe

Meenaxi completed her MBA in 2016 and worked for a securities company. She joined Consenta in 2018 and works on client review suitability reports and completing online application forms.

She balances her work life and the little one as a new mother.

Radha Gajjar

Radha holds an MBA in Finance and joined Consenta in 2017 straight from the University as a Financial Administrator. This early beginning offered her valuable exposure to IFAs and clients, allowing her to master administrative tasks, review processes, correspondence with UK advisors, and technical research, eventually progressing to Paraplanning. Radha’s innate curiosity drives her to learn and adapt continually and develop her skills.

Outside of work, Radha is a vivacious personality who relishes quality time with family and friends, indulging in movies, music, and weekend games. She’s an avid cook and enjoys sharing her culinary creations.

Shantanu Patwardhan

Shantanu joined us in 2020 fresh out of university, armed with an MBA in Finance Management and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. He plays a pivotal role in supporting our UK consultants and brings three years of valuable UK financial planning experience, working directly with the Directors in our Paraplanning department.

Off-duty, Shantanu indulges in movies and TV series, enjoys Classical and Bollywood music, and immerses himself in historical documentaries and literature. He holds a deep desire to explore historical sites.

Namrata Birla

Namrata is a dedicated financial services professional with 16+ years of experience, holding double master’s degrees in commerce. As a Qualified Personal Finance Professional and investment adviser (India), she’s passionate about guiding individuals towards financial success through systematic market investments, leveraging the power of compounding. As a single mother, she began investing in her daughter’s future at a young age.

Namrata closely monitors Indian equity markets and global developments, constantly seeking new investment opportunities for clients with diverse risk profiles. She advocates financial independence for women, emphasising savings and investments throughout their lives.

Beyond her financial acumen, Namrata is a fitness enthusiast with a penchant for healthy eating and regular exercise. She enjoys unwinding with friends on weekends and pursues hobbies like painting, reading, travelling, and trekking.

Parth Shah

Outside of work, he’s a dedicated father to twin daughters and enjoys travel, movies, and family cooking. He also actively engages in religious activities.

Mansi Ray

Mansi now assists advisers excelling in protection, mortgages, and administration tasks.
